March 31st, 2011 - On Wednesday night, under extreme security measures, Mir Hossein Mousavi was brought to his father's residence in order to bid his late father farewell.
According to reports by Kaleme, while remaining under house arrest, Mir Hossein Mouavi and his wife Zahra Rahnavard surrounded by tens of security agents, were transferred to his father's residence on Wednesday evening, hours after his father passed away, so that Mousavi may sit along the bedside of a father that had been longing to see his son, if only for a few minutes.
According to the same reports, although the security agents had filled the house and would not leave Mousavi alone for even an instant, Mousavi stood above his father's body, removed the cloth covering him, kissed his father on the forehead, read a prayer and bid his father farewell for the last time.
During the short time he was allowed to be present at his father's residence, from the time he entered and until he left the premises, Mir Hossein Mousavi uttered only the following word: "Patience... patience... once again patience..." Despite being subjected to lamentable and offensive behavior by security agents, with utmost serenity and tranquility Mousavi encouraged those around him to persevere and remain calm and patient.
This last farewell took place in an unprecedented move by security forces in which there was an extreme security atmosphere both inside Mir Esmail Mousavi's residence and in the streets that surrounded the house. Not only were female and male security forces surrounding Mousavi and Rahnavard, but Mousavi's daughters' cell phones were even removed despite their protests. It has also been reported that security forces were taking videos of the event and those present.

چهارشنبه شب، میرحسین موسوی در فضایی پلیسی و امنیتی، در منزل پدری حضور یافت تا با پدر مرحومش، میر اسماعیل موسوی، وداع کند.
به گزارش خبرنگار کلمه، میرحسین که همچنان در بازداشت خانگی است، در شامگاه چهارشنبه و ساعاتی پس از درگذشت پدرش، در حالی که دهها مامور امنیتی، او و همسرش زهرا رهنورد را دوره کرده بودند، به منزل پدری منتقل شد تا برای دقایقی بتواند در کنار پیکر میر اسماعیل موسوی که چشم‌انتظار دیدار پسر ارشد خود ماند، بنشیند.
بر اساس این گزارش، موسوی در حالی که ماموران برای لحظه‌ای رهایش نمی‌کردند و حتی داخل خانه را نیز پر کرده بودند، بر سر جنازه پدر حاضر شد، پارچه را کنار زد، پیشانی پدر را بوسید و برای آخرین بار با او خداحافظی کرد و برایش دعا کرد و فاتحه خواند.
میرحسین در همان لحظات کوتاه حضورش در خانه پدر، از بدو ورود تا زمان خروج، تنها یک واژه بر لبش بود: صبر، صبر و باز هم صبر. او که با برخوردهای زشت و زننده ماموران مواجه بود، در اوج آرامش و متانت به اطرافیان توصیه کرد که مقاوم باشند، آرامش خود را حفظ کنند و صبر پیشه کنند.
این وداع آخر در شرایطی انجام شد که ماموران به شکلی عجیب و بی‌سابقه، جو پلیسی و امنیتی را در خانه پدر میرحسین و محله اطراف آن حاکم کرده بودند. آنها نه تنها فضای داخل خانه را پر کرده بودند، و نه تنها ماموران امنیتی زن و مرد در کنار رهنورد و موسوی و چسبیده به آنها ایستاده بودند، بلکه حتی تلفن همراه دختران موسوی را نیز به‌رغم اعتراضشان از آنها گرفته بودند، و با چند دوربین از تمام حاضران در خانه نیز فیلمبرداری می‌کردند
