Wednesday March 30th, 2011 - After the passing of Mir Esmail Mousavi, Mir Hossein Mousavi's father, the family of the deceased has announced that any action regarding the movement of his body will be subject to the decision of his eldest son Mir Hossein Mousavi. According to reports by Jaras, the family's request was presented in an official etter addressed to Tehran's prosecutor. This while Mir Hossein Mousavi and his wife have been under house arrest since February 14th, 2011 and his family has not been given permission to meet with him.
In a letter addressed today to Tehran's prosecutor, Abbas Jafari Dolat Abadi, the family requested that arrangements be made so that Mir Hossein Mousavi, his wife Zahra Rahnavard and Dr. Sharif Zadegan be present at the funeral ceremony, burial and commemoration of the deceased. The request was made even though to date, no one within the current government has officially taken responsibility for the house arrest of Mir Hossein Mousavi and his wife.
If Mir Hossein Mousavi is allowed to attend, the funeral procession will take place on Thursday in front of Mir Esmail Mousavi's residence located on 15 Khordad Street, Akbarnejad Alley (Darkhoonegah) and will proceed to the 9th section at Beheshte Zahra Cemetery.
To date there is no information regarding whether security officials intend to impose new restrictions or remove any of the existing restrictions imposed upon Mir Hossein Mousavi and his spouse.
It is worth mentioning that during this 45 days of house arrest, one of Mousavi's children was allowed to meet with Mousavi and Rahnavard briefly under very tight security conditions. This meeting reportedly took place at a location belonging to the Ministry of Intelligence. Prior to the Persian New Year, Mir Hossein Mousavi was also taken to his ailing father's house under strict security conditions to meet with his old and ailing father. To the horror and bewilderment of this old man, three male security officers and one female security officer were present during Mousavi and Rahnavard's short visit in Mir Esmail's room.
During Norooz, none of Mir Hossein Mousavi's family members including his father were allowed to visit with him. This while the father and son were known for the strong emotional attachment between them.
It is also worth mentioning that after publishing a brief report today regarding the passing of Mir Hossein Mousavi's father, government media outlets claimed that Mousavi and Rahnavard had been allowed to meet Mousavi's father Mir Esmail Mousavi a few days ago.

Prior to the revolution, the residence of Mir Hossein Mousavi's father served as a safe haven and refuge for the now Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic Mr. Khamenei during his struggle with the former regime [of the Shah of Iran]. Mir Esmail Mousavi is the patriarch of an extended family that includes both Mousavi and Khamenei. In addition to Mir Hossein Mousavi and Zahra Rahnavard, Dr. Sharif Zadegan Welfare Minister during the Reform Period and a member of the Central Council of the Participation Front, currently behind bars is also a member of this extended family. Zadegan is the deceased's son-in-law and Mir Hossein Mousavi's brother-in-law.

خانواده موسوی، هرگونه اقدام در مورد پیکر میر اسماعیل موسوی را، به حضور میرحسین منوط کردند
طی نامه ای به دادستان تهران
جــرس: در پی درگذشت میر اسماعیل موسوی، پدر میرحسین موسوی، خانواده آن مرحوم اعلام کرده اند پیش از هر اقدامی جهت جابجایی و تجهیز پیکر آن مرحوم، منتظر فرزند ارشد او، میر حسین هستند تا با نظر او اقدامات بعدی را انجام دهند.
به گزارش جرس، این خانواده طی نامه ای به دادستان تهران، تقاضای رسمی خود را اعلام کرده اند و این درحالیست که میرحسین موسوی از روز ٢۵ بهمن به اتفاق همسرش زهرا رهنورد در حبس خانگی قرار دارد و به خانواده اش نیز اجازۀ دیدار با او داده نمی شود.
خانوادۀ موسوی امروز نامه ای به عباس جعفری دولت آبادی، دادستان تهران نوشته و از او درخواست نموده اند تا امکان حضور میرحسین موسوی، همسرش و نیز دکتر شریف زادگان را برای مراسم تشییع، تدفین و بزرگداشت آن مرحوم را فراهم نماید. این در حالیست که هنوز هیچ مقام رسمی مسئولیت حبس خانگی موسوی و همسرش را به عهده نگرفته است.
پیش بینی می شود در صورت حضور مهندس موسوی بر سر جنازه پدر مراسم تشییع پیکر آن مرحوم، روز پنجشنبه، از مقابل منزل وی واقع در خیابان ١۵ خرداد کوچۀ اکبرنژاد (درخونگاه) به سمت بهشت زهرا (قطعۀ نهم) برگزار شود.
در ادامه گزارش فوق آمده است "هنوز از تصمیم مقامات امنیتی در مورد اعمال محدودیت جدید و یا رفع محدودیت های اعمال شده قبلی در مورد میرحسین خبری در دست نیست."
لازم به یادآوری است طی این مدت (۴۵ روز حصر) فقط یک بار یکی از فرزندان آنها بطور محدود و تحت کنترل شدید و در محلی متعلق به وزارت اطلاعات، امکان ملاقات با والدین خود را داشته و یک بار نیز پیش از سال نو در حالی که این گزارش خاطرنشان کرد پدر میرحسین رو به وخامت گذارده بود، وی را شبانه و تحت شرائط امنیتی شدید به دیدار پدرش برده بودند. بطوریکه به همراه میرحسین سه مأمور مرد و یک مأمور زن وارد اطاق استراحت پدرش شده و موجب وحشت و حیرت آن مرد سالخورده شده بودند.
همچنین در ایام نوروز نیز، به هیچیک از اعضاء خانواده میرحسین موسوی از جمله پدرش اجازۀ دیدار با او را نداده بودند، و این در حالیست که وابستگی عاطفی این پدر و پسر بسیار زیاد و زبانزد فامیلشان بوده است.
نکته قابل ذکر این است که رسانه های حکومتی، امروز پس از انتشار خبری کوتاه پیرامون درگذشت پدر میرحسین موسوی، مدعی شده بودند که "چند روز گذشته، میرحسین موسوی و زهرا رهنورد با وی دیدار و عیادت کرده بودند."
به گزارش منابع خبری جرس، غروب چهارشنبه خانواده موسوی اعلام کرده اند پیش از هر اقدامی در جهت جابجایی و تجهیز جنازه آن مرحوم، منتظر فزرند ارشد او، میر حسین هستند تا با نظر او اقدامات بعدی را انجام دهند.
گفتنی است خانه پدر میر حسین موسوی پیش از انقلاب مأمن و پناهگاه آقای خامنه ای، رهبر جمهوری اسلامی در جریان مبارزه با رژیم سابق بوده و وی بزرگ خاندانی بود که آقای خامنه ای و مهندس موسوی اعضاء آن هستند.
همچنین علاوه بر میرحسین موسوی و زهرا رهنورد، دکتر شریف زادگان وزیر رفاه دولت اصلاحات و عضو شورای مرکزی جبهۀ مشارکت نیز، عضو دیگری از این خانواده است که در زندان بسر می برد. (وی داماد آن مرحوم و شوهر خواهر میرحسین موسوی است
