Thursday March 31st, 2011 - Javid Ghorban Oghli, a member of Mir Hossein Mousavi's electoral campaign and Iran's former Ambassador to Algeria was present at the funeral and burial ceremony for Haj Mir Esmail Mousavi. In an interview with Kalame, Ghorban Oghili provides a account of the events that took place last night and this morning as follows:
You were present at the funeral and burial ceremony for Mir Esmail Mousavi, Mr. Mousavi's noble father. Can you please provide Kaleme's readers with an overview of what happened and the manner in which security forces treated those present?
On the night that Mir Esmail Mousavi passed away, his family and very close friends gathered at his house. Early in the evening, security forces arrived at Mir Esmail's residence in order to dictate to the family what they referred to as the security measures required for the ceremonies. Mr. Mousavi's brother told the two security agents that until his brother Mir Hossein Mousavi is allowed to come to his father's bedside, the body of the deceased Mir Esmail will not be moved. Mr. Mousavi's brother emphasized that they will not act until Mousavi himself is present and provides them with instructions on what to do next. The security agents who were desperate after hearing the threats and persistence by the family, eventually brought Mir Hossein Mousavi and his wife Zahra Rahnavard to Mir Esmail Mousavi's residence a few hours later. After 50 days of separation from his ailing father, they only allowed Mr. Mousavi to see him for a few minutes.
Are you saying then that Mr. Mousavi and Dr. Rahnavard were brought to Mir Esmail's house? How long were they there? Did they have an opportunity to speak to anyone?
Yes. However, this visit was also in the presence of security forces and only lasted a few minutes, after which they immediately took Mr. Mousavi and his wife away. Despite Mr. Mousavi's was involvement in a variety of areas over the years he always visited with his father every Friday morning and called him every night. It was very difficult because he had not only not seen his father for a long time, but was also deprived of bidding him farewell before he passed away. Father and son were oppressed to such a degree that they did not even allow Mousavi to be present at his father's burial ceremony and to participate in carrying his casket.
There are reports of altercations with security forces, including the arrest of some of those present. Can you please expand on this.
The security forces were to blame for the altercations. From early morning, 15 Khordad Street and all the streets around it were filled with police and special security forces. The entire ceremony was marred with an intense security atmosphere. The family however, ignored their presence because they were determined to ensure that the ceremony proceed calmly. As accordance to Islamic tradition, the casket was being carried by family members for a short distance when security forces suddenly attacked the individuals involved in the procession, robbed the body of the deceased and put it inside an ambulance. The family naturally protested the violent and unacceptable behavior by the security agents and those present began chanting "Ya Hossein... Mir Hossein...". The oppressors even went as far as accosting, insulting and eventually arresting someone like Ayatollah Nouralhayan, a clergyman who has been close to the Supreme Leader for years. A number of Mir Hossein Mousavi's close relatives were beaten and also arrested. Despite the family's desire to put the late Mir Esmail Mousavi to rest in peace, the despicable and outrageous behavior by the security forces led to tension and unrest at the ceremony.
The ambulance transported the late Mir Esmail's body to Behesht Zahra Cemetary. How did the security forces behave at that location? Did they allow for a prayer ceremony to take place?
Unfortunately they behaved in the same manner at Beheshte Zahra Cemetery. They did not allow anyone to enter the mortuary. The close relatives were only allowed to wait outside the back door to the mortuary. Even though Beheshte Zahra Cemetery was pretty busy on Thursday the security agents had created a tense security atmosphere designed to intimidate the general public from joining the ceremony. When Dr. Shokourirad came up to express his condolences and begin the prayer ceremony, security agents brutally attacked him and then arrested him. They also arrested the daughter of Ayatollah Mousavi Ardebili, one of the grand Ayatollahs, who was later released after a few hours. They also released Dr. Shokourirad a few hours later at a corner of Beheshte Zahra Cemetery. The ceremony ended at 11:00am and the security forces forced all those present to leave the premises immediately. They themselves remained present, however, in order to prevent the general public from coming near the burial grounds.
Has the Mousavi family made any plans for a public funeral and commemoration ceremony? Will security agents allow such a ceremony?
On the first night when security agents arrived at Mir Esmail's house to dictate the security terms, they insisted that the funeral and commemoration ceremony take place on Friday April 1st. The family, and in particular Mr. Mousavi's brother disagreed and it was therefore agreed that the funeral and commemoration ceremonies would take place on Sunday April 3rd, 2011 at the Nour mosque in Fatemi square from 6:00 - 7:30pm. I am hopeful that they will stick to their promise and allow the family and supporters to attend the late Mir Esmail's funeral and commemoration services.

مراسم تشییع جنازه میراسماعیل موسوی نشان مظلومیت پدر و پسر بود
جاوید قربان اوغلی، از اعضای ستاد انتخاباتی میرحسین موسوی و سفیر سابق ایران در الجزایر، از حاضرین در مراسم تدفین حاج میر اسماعیل موسوی بود. خبرنگار کلمه سراغ ایشان رفت تا حال و هوای مراسم دیشب و امروز را توصیف کند.
شما در مراسم تشییع و تدفین مرحوم حاج میراسماعیل پدر بزرگوار جناب مهندس موسوی حاضر بودید. ممکن است برای مخاطبان کلمه درباره این مراسم و برخورد ماموران امنیتی بفرمایید؟
در شب درگذشت حاج آقا میراسماعیل موسوی و با جمع شدن اعضای خانواده و برخی از اقوام درجه یک در ساعات اولیه شب ماموران امنیتی به منزل ایشان می آیند تا درباره چگونگی برگزاری مراسم دستورات و به اصطلاح نکات امنیتی شان را به خانواده دیکته کنند. برادر جناب آقای مهندس موسوی به آن دو نفر تاکید کرد تا جناب میرحسین که بزرگ خانواده است بر سر بالین پدرمان نیاید ما جنازه را از جایش تکان نمی دهیم. باید ایشان بیاید و به ما بگوید چه کنیم تا ما همانطور عمل کنیم. این تهدید و مقاومت خانواده به نوعی ماموران را مستاصل کرد و چند ساعت بعد جناب آقای مهندس میرحسین موسوی و همسرشان خانم زهرا رهنورد را به خانه آوردند و تنها اجازه دادند این فرزند بعد از ۵۰ روز دوری و علی رغم بیماری و چشم انتظاری پدر، بعد از مرگش بتواند پدر را ببیند.
گفتید مهندس موسوی و خانم رهنورد را به خانه آوردند؟ تا کی ایشان آنجا بودند و آیا امکان صحبت یا تماس با دیگران را داشتند؟
این دیدار هم با حضور نیروهای امنیتی در منزل و تنها در حد چند دقیقه بود و سریعا مهندس و همسرش را با خود بردند. مهندس موسوی علی رغم سالیان سال مشغولیت در حوزه های مختلف دیدار هر صبح جمعه با پدر و تماس تلفنی هر شب با او قطع نمی شده، حال سخت بود که پدر را این همه مدت نبیند و در آخر بدون خداحافظی ترکش کند. مظلومیت این پدر و پسر تا جایی بود که اجازه ندادند بر سر خاک پدرش حاضر شود و خود جنازه اش بر دوش بگیرد.
خبرهایی از درگیری ماموران امنیتی با حاضران و بازداشت چند تن منتشر شده بود. در این باره توضیح می دهید؟
علت این درگیری خود ماموران بودند. از آغاز صبح خیابان ۱۵ خرداد و خیابان های اطراف مملو از نیروهای انتظامی و یگان ویژه بود، به گونه ای که جو پلیسی سنگینی بر مراسم حاکم شده بود. با این حال چون خانواده اصرار داشتند مراسم در کمال آرامش برگزار شود اعتنایی نداشتند. جنازه بر دوش اقوام و نزدیکان درجه یک تا مسافتی کوتاه بر طبق سنت با ادای لااله الاالله برده می شد که یکباره تعدادی از ماموران به تشییع کنندگان هجوم آوردند و جنازه را از دستان آنها کشیدند و به داخل آمبولانس بردند. این رفتار زشت ماموران با اعتراض خانواده مواجه شد و مردم حاضر هم در این موقع شعار یاحسین میرحسین سر دادند. مظلومیت این مراسم به حدی بود که به روحانی سرشناسی مثل آیت الله نوراللهیان که خود سالیان سال در بیت رهبری حضور داشته هم به طور غیرمحترمانه و با هتاکی و توهین برخورد کردند و نهایتا ایشان را بازادشت کردند. چند تن از اقوام درجه یک خانواده مهندس موسوی را نیز با ضرب و شتم بازداشت کردند. رفتار زشت و وقیحانه ماموران عامل تشنج و ناآرامی در مراسم شد وگرنه خانواده می خواست به احترام آن مرحوم فقید تشییع در آرامش برگزار شود.
آمبولانس پیکر آن مرحوم را به بهشت زهرا منتقل کرد. در آنجا برخورد ماموران چگونه بود؟ آیا اجازه برپایی نماز دادند؟
متاسفانه در بهشت زهرا هم به همین ترتیب عمل کردند. اجازه ندادند کسی وارد غسالخانه شود. تنها به اقوام نزدیک اجازه دادند که در درب پشتی غسالخانه منتظر بمانند. با اینکه در پنجشنبه آغاز سال بهشت زهرا شلوغ بود، اما ماموران چنان جو امنیتی و قرق کاملی را برپا کرده بودند که مبادا مردم عادی به تشییع کنندگان بپیوندند. وقتی آقای دکتر شکوری راد برای نماز و ادای تسلیت آمد، ماموران به گونه ای وحشیانه با ایشون برخورد و بازداشتش کردند. همینطور دختر آیت الله موسوی اردبیلی، از مراجع عظام تقلید را هم بازداشت کرده بودند. که بعد از ساعتی آزاد شدند. آقای دکتر شکوری راد را هم ساعتی بعد در گوشه ای از بهشت زهرا آزاد کردند. مراسم ساعت ۱۱ صبح به پایان رسید و نیروهای امنیتی مجبور کردند که حاضران سریعتر محل را ترک کنند، ولی خودشان همچنان در بهشت زهرا و بر سر مزار برای ممانعت از حضور مردم باقی ماندند.
برنامه خانواده مهندس موسوی برای مجالس ختم آن مرحوم چگونه است؟ آیا ماموران اجازه برپایی مراسم را دادند؟
ماموران امنیتی در همان شب نخست که برای مذاکره و دیکته دستورات امنیتی به خانه آمده بودند اصرار داشتند که مجلس ختم روز جمعه ۱۲ فروردین ماه برپا شود که خانواده و به خصوص برادر جناب مهندس مخالفت کردند و طبق قرار روز یکشنبه ۱۴ فروردین ماه مجلس ختم آن مرحوم در مسجد نور واقع در میدان فاطمی در ساعت شش تا هفت و نیم عصر برگزار می شود. البته امیدواریم بر سر قرارشان بمانند و اجازه برگزاری مراسم را به خانواده و دوستداران آن مرحوم بدهند.
