March 16th, 2011 - According to reports by RAHANA, close to 500 individuals were arrested by security forces in the capital of Iran Tehran during the Festival of Fire Ceremonies [Chahahrshanbe Souri] on Tuesday night.
The Deputy of security for the greater Tehran area pointed to 64 injuries and stated: "467 individuals were arrested last night and charged with disturbing public order and producing and distributing combustible/explosive material."
According to Mehr News, Colonel Ali Karimi stated: "Last night security forces successfully discovered and confiscated more than 461 dangerous combustibles and 23 hand grenades." Karimi added: "The police also discovered and confiscated over 2000 kilograms of material used to produce combustibles/explosives. Security forces successfully apprehended 467 individuals charged with disturbing public order and the production, distribution and trafficking of combustible/explosive material. 16 of the 64 individuals injured on Tuesday night are in critical condition."

نیروی انتظامی در شب چهارشنبه سوری، نزدیک به ۵۰۰ نفر را در پایتخت دستگیر کرد.
معاون عملیات تهران بزرگ با اشاره به مصدومیت ۶۴ نفر در مراسم چهارشنبه آخر سال گفت: «شب گذشته ۴۶۷ نفر به جرم مزاحمت، بر هم زدن امنیت و تولید و توزیع مواد محترقه دستگیر شدند».
به گزارش مهر، سرهنگ علی کریمی گفت: «شب گذشته ماموران پلیس موفق شدند بیش از ۴۶۱ عدد انواع مواد محترقه خطرناک و ۲۳ نارنجک دست ساز کشف و ضبط کنند».
وی ادامه داد: «همچنین بیش از دو هزار کیلوگرم مواد سازنده مواد محترقه توسط پلیس کشف و ضبط شد».
معاون عملیات تهران بزرگ گفت: «پلیس در سطح شهر موفق شد ۴۶۷ نفر از افرادی را که اقدام به «مزاحمت، برهم زدن امنیت و تولید و توزیع و قاچاق مواد محترقه» می کردند در پایتخت دستگیر کند».
وی گفت: «درمراسم چهارشنبه آخر سال ۶۴ نفر مصدوم شدند که حال ۱۹ تن از آنان به شدت وخیم است».
