Sunday April 3rd, 2011 - In the past two months and in particular after the house arrest of Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi, a large number of political activists, human rights activists, social activists and student activists have once again been arrested.
According to reports by Tahavole Sabz, Fakhrolsadat Mohtashamipour, Mostafa Tajzadeh's husband who began writing letters to Tehran's prosecutor upon his arrest demanding that his rights and the rights of other political prisoner be met, is one of the individuals arrested during this time. One month after her arrest, Mohtashamipour remains under interrogation and behind bars.
In a recent visit with her family, Mohtashamipour reportedly described her interrogation, stating that despite the fact that she has been charged because of her own activism and the letters she wrote to the prosecutor with regards to the condition of political prisoners behind bars, most of the questions she was asked by interrogators related to her husband Tajzadeh.
Given the evidence at hand and the interrogation process, it is clear that her arrest was preplanned and designed to exert even more pressure on her husband Mostafa Tajzadeh.
According to the latest reports in media outlets also confirmed by her family, Mohtashamipour went on a hunger strike on March 21st, 2011.
Tahavole Sabz interviewed her son-in-law Seyed Ali Tabatabai, a member of the Islamic Iran Participation Front in order to discuss Mohtashamipour's deteriorating health condition as a result of her hunger strike. The content of the interview is as follows:
Mr. Tabatabai, how many times has Mrs. Mohtashamipour been allowed to meet with her family since her incarceration? When exactly did the last visit take place?
A week after her March 1st, 2011 arrest and incarceration Mrs. Mohtashamipour was allowed an initial, but brief telephone conversation with her family. On March 20th, the family was also allowed a brief visitation. The last visit took place with her daughter yesterday after she was forced to break her hunger strike.
According to media reports, Mrs. Mohtashamipour had indicated that she will begin a hunger strike if denied an opportunity to meet with her husband Mr. Tajzadeh. Can you please expand on this issue?
Mrs Mohtashamipour continues to insist even after her arrest, that her most important duty as a member of a political prisoner's family is to follow up on the status and condition of other political prisoners and that of her husband. Mr. Tajzadeh's fate has been much like other companions critical of the coup government who have been unwilling to retract their statements. After undergoing a back operation, despite the fact that doctors had described his physical condition as frail, indicating that he is also in urgent need of a second operation on his neck, Mr. Tajzadeh was nevertheless returned to prison. Furthermore, in an illegal and highly unconventional act [by the ruling government], rather than being transferred to the general ward at Evin, Tajzadeh was transferred to the Quarantine Ward and denied of all basic rights afforded to prisoners.
During this time, even the prison doctors have announced the urgent need for an MRI and immediate medial care. Unfortunately to date, prison officials have ignored all requests by doctors and Tajzadeh's family.
Mrs. Mohtashamipour has continued to call for her husband's medical needs be addressed. She has insisted that prison officials put an end to their illegal acts and transfer her husband to the general ward and provide him with the basic rights afforded all prisoners. Furthermore, she had indicated that if her legal requests are ignored and she is denied visitation with her husband, she would begin a hunger strike. According to her statement, she began a hunger strike on March 21st. Unfortunately after four days of hunger strike, as a result of her rapidly deteriorating health, she was administered IV fluids.
Can you please expand upon where Mrs. Mohtashamipour is being held and her interrogation process?
Until one week after her arrest, Mrs. Mohtashamipour's family had no news of her whereabouts and well being. After her brief telephone contact, we realized that she was being held in solitary confinement in Evin's IRGC Ward 2A. In her last visit before the new year with her family Mrs. Mohtashamipour indicated that she has not accepted any of the charges against her. According to her own account, she even wrote an open letter addressed to the judicial authorities on the piece of paper on which her charges had been published.
Have the judicial authorities indicated why Mrs. Mohtashamipour has been arrested?
Mrs. Mohtashamipour was arrested during the demonstrations that took place on March 1st, 2011, protesting the house arrest of the Green leaders Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi. However, according to her own account, the interrogation process and previous threats, it looks as though her arrest was preplanned and as a result of her activism on behalf of the rights of political prisoners and their families and the numerous letters she wrote to the prosecutor. It has also been stated that she must finally pay a price for her letters and the media outlets belonging to the coup government have made references to her letters claiming that she intended to collude against the regime.
Did Mrs. Mohtashamipour discuss her interrogation and the manner in which she had been treated by interrogators with her family?
Yes. In her last visit with the family, Mrs. Mohtashamipour was very critical of the manner in which she had been interrogated. She stated that even though the judicial authorities insist that she has been arrested based on her activism and in particular the content of her letters, the majority of their questions have nevertheless been regarding her husband Mr. Tajzadeh. She specifically stated that the authorities are interrogating her with the goal to find something to further increase the pressure on her husband.
A number of Green media outlets published reports of Mrs. Mohtashamipour being transferred to the hospital yesterday as a result of her hunger strike. Given the concern regarding her health, can you please expand on how she is doing?
As I stated early, she began her hunger strike on March 21st, 2011. After four days, as a result of her dire physical condition, she was transferred to the prison infirmary and connected to IV fluids. Fortunately, her physical condition is improving. However, since she has indicated that she plans to resume her hunger strike as of Monday, we are very concerned for her well being.
Is it true that despite her deteriorating physical condition, prison officials continued to deny her visitation with her family?
According to Mrs. Mohtashamipour, after her physical condition deteriorated and she was transferred to the infirmary, the prison officials demanded that she break her hunger strike. When Mrs. Mohtashamipour refused to comply with their request, they promised that she would be allowed to meet with her husband and she was taken to the visitation room. However, instead of meeting with her husband, they brought her father to the visitation room.
What was Mrs. Mohtashamipour's reaction? Does she still insist on meeting with Mr. Tajzadeh?
After being denied visitation with Tajzadeh, in her brief meeting with her daughter yesterday, Mrs. Mohtashamipour expressed grave concern for her husband's physical condition. She has indicated that if the authorities refuse to comply with her demand, she will once again resume her hunger strike on Monday April 4th, 2011.
Can you please inform us on the latest news on Mr. Tajzadeh's condition?
Unfortunately, except for the short visit with his daughter, we have no further news on Mr. Tajzadeh's condition. He is still deprived of all telephone contact and visitation. In his last meeting with his daughter, Mr. Tajzadeh was very critical of the manner in which he had been treated. In an act of protest against the officials, he had asked his family to follow his example and not request any visitation or contact with him. Mr. Tajzadeh also told his family in protest to his treatment by the authorities, he has fasted during the entire period of his illegal incarceration and plans to continue fasting. Despite his weak physical condition, Tajzadeh continues to stand up for his rights. In his last visit, while referring to the coup government officials as cowards, Tajzadeh announced that he refuses to take any action that would be interpreted as given in to their demands.
Is there anything else you wish to add before we end this interview?
Unfortunately, one of the underlying reasons for the actions taken against Mr. Tajzadeh and Mrs. Mohtashamipour, as is the case for many others who have been arrested, is the personal grudge that some officials hold against them. This grudge has led to these loved ones being denied even the basic rights afforded all prisoners.
Given the warnings by doctors regarding Mr. Tajzadeh's physical condition and the fact that he has decided to continue fasting and Mrs. Mohtashamipour's recent vow to resume her hunger strike despite her weak physical condition, government officials are directly responsible for the health and well being of this incarcerated husband and wife team and all other prisoners. There is no doubt that they will have to answer to our nation one day regarding their actions. As one of many families of political prisoners we ask those responsible for the regime and the Marajeh [Grand Ayatollah's and sources of emulation] to play a critical and effective role in putting an end to such injustices.
I would like to take this time to point out that despite her weak physical condition, Mrs. Mohtashamipour's was in great spirits during her visit with her daughters, insisting that her daughters exercise patient and perseverance in dealing with the challenges ahead and to continue following up on Tajzadeh's condition and that of the other political prisoners.
Mrs. Mohtashamipour presented her youngest daughter with a poem she had written for her during her incarceration; a poem written to a daughter who now spends most of her time defending her parents' rights. The content of the poem is as follows:
A lonely daughter, an empty house, an incarcerated father
A mother in solitary confinement, the house silent, a story full of sorrow,
Yet a spring full of music is on its way
Spring will once again arrive and our house will come to life,
A city full of hope, a father released, a cage finally empty
A house filled with joy
Perhaps mother will be present, sharing the joy.. with patience all will be solved
A daughter full of pride and pain
this dead and silent house will come to life tomorrow
The day of wisdom, an auspicious day will soon arrive
full of flowers and laughter... come laugh with me...

میرسه روز عقل، یک روز فرخنده
پر از گل و لبخند، بیا بخند با من، به هرچی حصر و بند
تحول سبز: طی چند ماه گذشته و پس از به حصر درآمدن شیخ مهدی کروبی و مهندس میرحسین موسوی توسط نیروه های امنیتی ایران بازداشت فعالین سیاسی در ایران نیز شدت بیشتری گرفته و تعداد کثیری از فعالان حقوق بشری و مدنی و دانشجویی در این میان بازداشت شده اند.
به گزارش تحول سبز، فخرالسادات محتشمی پور همسر سیدمصطفی تاجزاده که پس از بازداشت همسرش با نوشتن نامه های متعدد به دادستان تهران خواهان احقاق حقوق پایمال شده آقای تاجزاده و دیگر زندانیان سیاسی شده بود یکی از کسانی است که در این مدت بازداشت شد و هنوز هم تحت بازجویی می باشد.
آنچه که از گفته های خانم محتشمی پور در ملاقات با خانواده اش حائز اهمیت است نوع برخورد بازجوها در جلسات بازجویی ایشان میباشد، به گفته وی علی رغم اینکه اتهام ایشان نوشته ها و فعالیت های شخصی ایشان در خصوص رسیدگی به خانواده های زندانیان سیاسی مطرح شده است. اما اکثرا سوالات مطرح شده در جلسات بازجویی در خصوص همسرشان سید مصطفی تاجزاده میباشد.
با توجه به شواهد موجود و روند طی شد در جلسات بازجویی ایشان این نکته کاملا محرز می باشد که بازداشت ایشان طبق یک برنامه ریزی از پیش معیین شده و در جهت تحت فشار قردادن سید مصطفی تاجزاده صورت گرفته است.
طبق آخرین خبری که چند روز گذشته در رسانه ها منتشر شد و مورد تایید خانواده ایشان نیز قرار گرفت فخر السادات محتشمی پور همانطور که از پیش اعلام کرده بود از روز اول فروردین ماه دست به اعتصاب غذا زده است .
با توجه به اخبار رسیده از وضعیت خانم محتشمی پور و وخامت حال وی در پی اعتصاب غذای هفته گذشته، گفتگویی داشتیم با سید علی طباطبایی عضو جبهه مشارکت ایران اسلامی و داماد آقای تاجزاده در خصوص آخرین وضعیت خانم محتشمی پور و آقای تاجزاده که متن این گفتگو پیش روی شماست.
آقای طباطبایی خانم محتشمی پور طی مدتی که در بازداشت بوده اند چند نوبت با خانواده ملاقات داشتند و آخرین
دیدارشان با اعضای خانواده چه زمانی بوده؟
ایشان بعد از بازداشت در روز ۱۰اسفند توسط نیروهای امنیتی و بعد از حدود یک هفته که از وضعیت ایشان خبری در دست نبود تماس تلفنی کوتاهی با خانواده داشتند. در روز ۲۹اسفند هم ملاقاتی با اعضای خانواده شان فراهم شد و آخرین دیدارشان هم روز گذشته با دخترشان بوده که بعد از شکستن اجباری اعتصاب غذایشان صورت گرفته بود.
براساس اخبار خانم محتشمی پور اظهار داشته بودند که در صورت فراهم نشدن امکان دیدار با همسرشان مصطفی تاجزاده اعتصاب غذا خواهند کرد. ممکن است توضیحات بیشتری در این خصوص و خواسته های ایشان بفرمایید
ایشان همانطور که قبل از دستگیری هم مهمترین وظیفه خود را به عنوان خانواده یک زندانی سیاسی پیگیری وضعیت زندانیان سیاسی و بالاخص همسر خود می دانستند پس از بازداشت هم کماکان به ایفای این نقش اصرار دارند.
متاسفانه آقای تاجزاده هم مثل دیگر دوستان شکایت کننده از کودتا گران که حاضر به پس گرفتن شکایت خود نشدند پس از عمل جرحی کمر و با وجود اینکه پزشکان وضعیت جسمی ایشان را نامناسب اعلام کرده بودند و نیاز به عمل جراحی گردن را هم در مورد ایشان ضروری دانسته بودند مجددا به زندان بازگردانده شدند و اینبار در یک اقدام غیر قانونی و کاملا غیر متعارف به جای انتقال به بند عمومی به قرنطینه زندان اوین منتقل شدند و پس از آن از کوچکترین حقوق اولیه یک زندانی هم محروم شده اند.
در این مدت پزشکان خود زندان هم چندین بار ضرورت انجام “ام آر آی” و رسیدگی سریع به وضعیت جسمی ایشان را اعلام کرده اند که متاسفانه مسئولین تا کنون حاضر به تن دادن به خواسته پزشکان و خانواده نشده اند.
خانم محتشمی پور هم کماکان خواستار رسیدگی به این خواسته ها و پایان دادن به برخوردهای غیرقانونی و انتقال همسرشان به بند عمومی و بهره مندی از حقوق اولیه ایشان هستند و اعلام کرده بودند اگر این خواسته ها که همگی کاملا قانونی و به حق هستند اجابت نشود و ایشان اجازه ملاقات با همسرش را پیدا نکند دست به اعتصاب غذا خواهد زد که با عدم تحقق درخواستها اعتصاب غدای خود را از روز اول فروردین ماه شروع کرده بودند که متاسفانه پس از گذشت چهار روز از اعتصاب غدا و با وخامت وضعیت ایشان زیر سرم میروند.
در خصوص محل نگهداری و شرایط بازجویی ایشان اگر اطلاعاتی دارید بفرمایید
بعد از بازداشت خانم محتشمی پور خانواده تا یک هفته هیچگونه خبری از وضعیت ایشان نداشتند تا اینکه پس از تماس تلفنی خانم محتشمی متوجه شدیم که ایشان در بند دو الف سپاه زندان اوین و در انفرادی نگهداری می شوند. ایشان همچنین در دیداری که در روزهای آخر سال گذشته با خانواده داشتند گفته بودند که تا کنون هیچ اتهامی رو نپذیرفته اند و طبق گفته خودشان در برگه بازجویی نامه ای سرگشاده خطاب به مقامات قضایی نوشته بودند.
آقای طباطبایی در خصوص علت بازدداشت خانم محتشمی پور آیا مقامات قضایی علت خاصی را مطرح کرده اند؟
نحوه بازداشت و همچنین زمان بازداشت که در روز ۱۰ اسفندماه انجام شد به نحوی بود که القا کنند این دستگیری هم جزو دستگیری های مربوط به تجمعات اعتراضی به حصر رهبران جنبش سبز بوده است، اما بر اساس گفته ایشان و اظهارات بازجوها و همچنین تهدیدهایی که از قبل صورت گرفته بود، دستگیری ایشان از قبل برنامه ریزی شده بوده و به علت نوشته ها، مصاحبه ها و فعالیتهای ایشان در جهت احقاق حقوق خانواده های زندانیان سیاسی بوده است.
در جایی هم گفته شد که ایشان بالاخره باید هزینه نوشته های خود را بپردازند و رسانه های کودتا هم با استناد به برخی نوشته های وی اعلام کردند که ایشان در نوشته هایشان قصد هتاکی به نظام را داشته اند.
آیا ایشان در ملاقاتهایی که داشتند اشاره ای به روند بازجویی و برخورد بازجویان داشته اند در این خصوص اگر مطلبی هست بفرمایید؟
بله. طبق گفته خانم محتشمی در آخرین ملاقاتشان، ایشان به نحوه و روند بازجویی هایش به شدت اعتراض داشته و عنوان داشته اند که علی رغم اینکه بازجوها ومقامات قضایی تاکید دارند که علت بازداشت ایشان نوشته ها و نامه ها و فعالیت های شخصی خودشان بوده است ولی عمده سوالات بازجوها در در دور جدید بازجویی ها در مورد آقای تاج زاده می باشد، ایشان مشخصا گفته اند که اینها بدنبال این هستند که بتوانند در طول بازجویی های من مطلبی پیدا کنند تا فشار بر آقای تاجزاده را بیشتر کنند.
روز گذشته خبری در مورد انتقال خانم محتشمی پور به بیمارستان در وبسایتهای سبز منتشر شد که علت هم ضعف جسمانی شدید که حاصل از اعتصاب غذای ایشان بوده عنوان شده با توجه به شرایط و نگرانی های ایجاد شده آیا شما در مورد آخرین وضعیت ایشان اطلاعی در دست دارید؟
همانطور که گفته شد ایشان اعتصاب غذای خود را از روز اول فروردین شروع کرده بودند که پس از چهار روز با وخامت وضعیت جسمی ایشان به بهداری منتقل می گردند و مدتی زیر سرم بوده اند.
خوشبختانه در حال حاضر وضعیت جسمی ایشان رو به بهبود است ولی با توجه به اینکه خانم محتشمی پور اعلام کرده اند مجددا از روز دوشنبه اعتصاب غذای خود را از سر خواهند گرفت شدیدا نگران وضعیت ایشان هستیم.
مامورین امنیتی با توجه به وضعیت خانم محتشمی هنوز اجازه ملاقات را صادر نکرده اند ؟
خیر، به گفته خانم محتشمی پور پس از این که حال وی رو به وخامت می رود و به بهداری منتقل می گردد مسئولین از وی می خواهند که اعتصاب غدای خود را بشکند که این امر با مخالفت ایشان مواجه میشود. بعد از مخالفت خانم محتشمی پور مسئولین قول ملاقات با همسرش را به وی میدهند و به ایشان میگویند که می تواند مصطفی تاجزاده را ملاقات کند، و خانم محتشمی را به اتاق ملاقات می برند، اما در عوض پدر خانم محتشمی پور را به اتاق ملاقات می آورند.
خانم محتشمی پور درقبال این رفتار عکسل العملی داشته اند؟ آیا ایشان هنوز اصرار به ملاقات با آقای تاج زاده را دارند؟
بعد از اینکه اجازه ملاقات با آقای تاج زاده داده نشد خانم محتشمی پور در ملاقات روز گذشته با دخترشان اظهار داشتند که کماکان نسبت به وضعیت آقای تاج زاده نگران هستند و اگر مسئولین با درخواستهای ایشان موافقت نکنند از روز دوشنبه ۱۵ فروردین ماه اعتصاب غذای خود را از سر خواهند گرفت.
آقای طباطبایی در مورد آخرین وضعیت آقای تاج زاده نیز اگر مطلبی هست بفرمایید
متاسفانه غیر از ملاقات کوتاهی که دخترشان با ایشان داشتند اطلاعی از وضعیت آقای تاج زاده نداریم. تماسهای تلفنی و ملاقاتهای ایشان هم کماکان قطع می باشد. در همان آخرین ملاقات هم آقای تاج زاده به شدت به نحوه برخوردها اعتراض داشته اند و از خانواده خواسته بودند تا همانطور که خودشان هیچ گونه درخواستی از مسئولین نخواهند داشت خانواده هم با ایشان همراهی کنند و به هیچ وجه درخواست تماس یا ملاقات نداشته باشند.
ایشان اعلام کرده بودند که در تمام مدت بازداشت غیرقانونی خود در اعتراض به این روند روزه بوده اند و کماکان به روزه داری خود ادامه خواهند داد.
ایشان با وجود وضعیت جسمی نامناسبی که دارند کماکان با استقامت مثال زدنی بر سر مواضع خویش ایستاده اند و در آخرین ملاقات خود هم با ترسو خواندن کودتاگران اعلام کرده اند که حاضر نیستند هیچ گونه عملی که تعبیر به نرمش در برابر آنها شود انجام دهند.

متاسفانه یکی از عوامل اصلی در برخوردهای صورت گرفته با آقای تاج زاده و خانم محتشمی پور مانند بسیاری دیگر از زندانیان سیاسی، کینه های شخصی برخی از مقامات از آنها می باشد که این امر باعث شده این عزیزان حتی از حقوق اولیه خود به عنوان یک زندانی سیاسی هم محروم گردند.
با توجه به هشدارهای داده شده در خصوص وضعیت جسمی آقای تاج زاده و ادامه روزه اعتراضی ایشان و همچنین شروع مجدد اعتصاب غذای خانم محتشمی پور با وجود وضعیت جسمی نامناسبشان مسئولیت مستقیم حفظ سلامت این زوج و دیگر زندانیان سیاسی بر عهده مقامات نظام خواهد بود و قطعا باید روزی در برابر مردم پاسخگوی این گونه برخوردهای خود باشند.
ما به عنوان یکی از خانواده های زندانیان سیاسی از عقلای نظام و خصوصا مراجع درخواست داریم تا نقش موثرتری در جلوگیری از این بی تدبیری ها ایفا کنند.
مطلب دیگری که باید به آن اشاره کنم روحیه بسیار بالای خانم محتشمی پور در ملاقات با فرزندشان بوده است و علی رغم اینکه ضعف جسمانی شدیدی داشته اند همچنان با روحیه بسیارخوب و با تاکید فراوان بر چند کلمه از جمله صبر، استقامت و تزکیه از فرزندانشان درخواست داشته اند که با صبر و استقامت با مشکلات برخورد کنند و پیگر وضعیت آقای تاج زاده و دیگر زندانیان سیاسی باشند.
ایشان همچنین در ایام بازداشت شعری برای فاطمه، دختر کوچکشان که این روزها در فراغ پدر و مادر به سر می برد، سروده بودند که در ملاقات روز گذشته آنرا در اختیار وی قرار داده است.
قطعه شعری که سرکار خانم محتشمی پور خطاب به دخترش فاطمه سروده است در ادامه آورده شده است:

مادر در انفرادی، یک خونه خاموش، یک قصه غمگین
