Monday April 26th, 2011 - Following the controversy regarding the supposed resignation or dismissal of Heidar Mpslehi [Intelligence Minister], sources close to Jaras report that in a meeting with a group of managers of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Mahmoud Ahmadinejad confirmed that the Supreme Leader Khamenei played a role in protecting the second term of his presidency. According to these sources Ahmadinejad stated: "Khamenei saved my presidency in 2009 in order to save himself and those loyal to him for he knew that if "Mir Hossein Mousavi" had become president, he would dismantle the office of the Supreme Leader."
In other news, a number of websites affiliated with the conservatives are reporting that Ahmadinejad insists on his previous position that the Intelligence Minister should be dismissed and he is no longer willing to cooperate with him. Contrary to what was expected and despite the letter by the Supreme Leader in support of the Intelligence Minister, to date Heidar Moslehi has not been invited back to attend cabinet meetings.
It has been reported that after Moslehi's abrupt dismissal and the immediate letter by the Supreme Leader that he be reinstated, Moslehi was not invited to attend the trip by the government delegation to the Kurdish province and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad did not allow the Intelligence Ministry's management team to accompany the other delegates, completely ignoring the letter by the Supreme Leader and the attacks by the conservatives.
It is worth mentioning that following the controversy related to the supposed dismissal or resignation of Heidar Moslehi from his position as Intelligence Minister, a large number of media outlets, authorities and organizations affiliated with the conservatives attacked Ahmadinejad's government and its media outlets, stating that the decision resulted from forces within the government seeking to create "deviation". Similarly, Ahmad Tavakoli a parliament member and conservative critic of the government, referring to the importance of conferring with the Supreme Leader when appointing or removing Intelligence, Exterior and Defense Ministers stated: "Ahmadinejad's duty was to first obtain the
agreement of the Revolution's Supreme Leader."
In relation to the events surrounding the Intelligence Ministry, Alef website affiliated with Tavakoli published a post in which they claimed that Ahmadinejad had already tried to dismiss Heidar Moslehi in the past, but even then faced opposition by the Supreme Leader.
This while Khamenei when meeting with a number of people from the province of Fars on Saturday morning confirmed that whenever he observes lack of leadership, he will interfere if necessary, and that as long as he is alive he will never allow for the great nation's [Islamic] movement to stray from its course.
This news was published at a time when the relationship between the Supreme Leader and the president of the Islamic Republic have been heavily strained over the past week because of the controversy created by whether or not to retain Moslehi as Intelligence Minister. In a speech given on Sunday, Khamenei tried to down play the tension between the different factions of the ruling government, though Ahmadinejad has yet to react to the controversy. Some conservative media outlets claim that by neglecting to invite the Intelligence Minister to government's visit to Kurdistan province, Ahmadinejad jas directly questioned the Supreme Leader's decision that Maslehi should remain in his post as Intelligence Minister.

احمدی نژاد از نقش رهبری در انتخاب مجدد خود در سال ٨٨ سخن گفت
جــرس: در ادامه چالش های رخ داده پیرامون برکناریِ استعفاگونۀ حیدر مصلحی، منابع خبری جرس می گویند که "محمود احمدی نژاد" رییس دولت دهم، در جمع گروهی از مدیران خبرگزاری جمهوری اسلامی( ایرنا) دخالت آقای خامنه ای برای حفظ او در سمت ریاست جمهوری را تایید کرده است. بنابه گزارش این منابع، احمدی نژاد گفته است :" آقای خامنه ای در سال 1388 من را حفظ کرد تا به این ترتیب نیروهای خودش را حفظ کند چرا که اگر "میرحسین موسوی" رییس جمهور می شد دستگاه رهبری را برمی چید."
از سوی دیگر برخی سایتهای وابسته به جریان اصولگرا گزارش داده اند که محمود احمدی نژاد همچنان بر موضع قبلی خود مبنی بر برکناری وزیر اطلاعات پافشاری کرده و حاضر نیست با وی همکاری کند و بر خلاف آنچه انتظار می رفت، رئیس دولت با وجود تاکید و نامۀ رهبری، هنوز از حیدر مصلحی برای حضور مجدد در هیات دولت دعوت نکرده است.
گفته می شود بعد از برکناری ناگهانی وزیر اطلاعات و بلافاصله نامۀ رهبری جهت ابقای وی، وزیر برکنار شده حتی به سفر استانی هیئت دولت به کردستان نیز دعوت نشد و محمود احمدی نژاد اجازه نداد که تیم مدیریتی این مجموعه با دولت همراه شود، تا عملا نامه و دستور رهبر و حملات اصولگرایان را نادیده بگیرد.
گفتنی است در جریان برکناری استفعاگونۀ حیدر مصلحی از وزارت اطلاعات، طیف گسترده ای از رسانه ها، مقامات و تشکلهای اصولگرا، ضمن حمله به نزدیکان و رسانه دولت، این تصمیم را تحت تاثیر "جریان انحرافی" نفوذی در دولت ارزیابی کرده بودند.
در همین ارتباط، پیش‌تر احمد توکلی نماینده محافظه کار منتقد دولت در مجلس، با اشاره به لزوم کسب نظر رهبری در هنگام انتخاب یا تغییر وزرای خارجه، دفاع و اطلاعات گفته بود: "احمدی‌نژاد وظیفه داشت از قبل، نظر مثبت رهبر معظم انقلاب را داشته باشد اما این کار را نکرد."
سایت الف وابسته به توکلی، در خبری در مورد تحولات وزارت اطلاعات، نوشته بود که در گذشته هم رئیس جمهوری تصمیم داشته حیدر مصلحی وزیر اطلاعات را برکنار کند که با مخالفت رهبری مواجه شده است.
این درحالی است که آقای خامنه‌ای صبح شنبه در دیدار با جمعی از مردم استان فارس تاکید کرد که "هرجا كه رهبری احساس كند از مصلحت بزرگی غفلت می شود، وارد خواهد شد و رهبری تا زنده است هیچگاه نخواهد گذاشت، در حركت عظیم ملت ایران بسوی آرمانها، ذره‌ای انحراف ایجاد شود."
انتشار این خبر در شرایطی است که روابط میان رهبر جمهوری اسلامی و رییس دولت پس از جنجال های هفته گذشته بر سر ابقای حیدر مصلحی در سمت وزارت اطلاعات به شدت تنش آلود شده است. آقای خامنه ای دیروز( یکشنبه) در یک سخنرانی سعی کرد تنش های کنونی میان جناح های حاکم در قدرت را کم اهمیت جلوه دهد اما احمدی نژاد هنوز واکنشی علنی در این باره نشان نداده است. برخی رسانه های محافظه کار می گویند که احمدی نژاد با عدم دعوت از وزیر اطلاعات در سفر استانی به کردستان،عملا تصمیم رهبری برای ابقای مصلحی در این وزارت خانه را زیر سوال برده است
