Sunday October 17th 2010 - Hossein Nourani Nejad, political activist recently released from Evin prison, writes the following on his Facebook page: In a recent telephone conversation from Ahvaz prison, that lasted only a few minutes, Zia Nabavi informed his family about the prison conditions at Ahvaz prison. Nabavi stated that he was restricted from movement, the drinking water was not drinkable and that he doubts he will be assigned a cell or a bed even in the next six months. According to Nabavi, everyone at Ahvaz prison speaks Arabic and the hygienic and sanitary conditions are sub par to say the least. He said the prison reminds him of the movie Papillion and his only goal is to stay alive. Nourani Nejad adds: So much suffering because of the false charge of colluding with seditious groups. Anyone who knows Zia, will swear to the fact that he is not a member of the so called Seditious groups and had nothing to do with the Rajavi's Mojahedin.

Hossein Norani Nejad, political activist who himself was recently released from Evin prison writes on his personal Facebook wall that in a recent telephone conversation with his family that lasted only a few minutes, Nabavi informed his family that he has been allowed twice a week, 3 minute telephone conversations.
Nourani Nejad writes: Ziya Nabavi stated that he was restricted from movement and that the drinking water was not drinkable. He will probably not be assigned a cell or a place to sleep even in the next six months. Only those who have experienced such conditions understand the severity of it. Nobody speaks his language. Everyone speaks Arabic and the sanitary conditions are sub par to say the least.
Nourani Nejad continues: Nabavi is reminded of the movie Papillion. His only goal is to stay alive. So much suffering because of the false charge of colluding with seditious group. Ziaeldin Nabavi, student deprived of an education and a member of the Education Rights Committee was arrested on June 15, 2009. The lower court initially sentenced Nabavi to 15 years in prison and exile to Izeh. The appeals court reduced the sentence to 10 years in prison and his exile location was changed from Izeh to the Karoun Prison in Ahvaz. After being transferred to Ahvaz prison, Nabavi was severely beaten and sent to solitary confinement for 48 hours.

تماس ضیا نبوی از زندان اهواز؛ اینجا نه آب سالم هست و نه جای خواب!

چکیده : ضیا نبوی در تماس چند دقیقه‌ای از زندان اهواز عنوان کرده است که تنها هفته ای دو بار امکان تماس سه دقیقه ای دارد. زندان ممنوع التردد است، آب شربش غیرقابل شرب است! تا ۶ ماه دیگر هم صاحب جا و تخت نمی شود و این را حبس کشیده‌ها می‌دانند که چه حبس تو حبسی است. همزبان ندارد، همه عرب زبان، بهداشت زیر صفر… خودش یاد فیلم پاپیون افتاده، فقط می خواهد زنده بماند. این همه رنج برای اتهام غیرواقع ارتباط با منافقین. ضیا را هر که بشناسد شهادت می‌دهد که او ربطی به مجاهدین رجوی ندارد.
ضیا نبوی، دانشجوی محروم از تحصیل که به تازگی به زندان اهواز تبعید شده است، در این زندان شرایط بسیار نامناسبی دارد.
حسین نورانی‌نژاد، فعال سیاسی که به تازگی از زندان اوین آزاد شده است، در صفحه شخصی خود در سایت فیس‌بوک خبر داد که ضیا نبوی در تماس چند دقیقه‌ای از زندان اهواز عنوان کرده است که تنها هفته ای دو بار امکان تماس سه دقیقه ای دارد.

ضیا‌ء‌الدین نبوی، دانشجوی محروم از تحصیل و سخنگوی شورای دفاع از حق تحصیل، ۲۵ خرداد سال گذشته بازداشت و در دادگاه بدوی با حکم ۱۵ سال حبس تعزیری مواجه شد.
دادگاه تجدیدنظر، این حکم را به ۱۰ سال حبس در زندان ایذه کاهش داد که پس از آن، حکم تبعید از زندان ایذه به زندان کارون اهواز تغییر یافت.
ضیاء نبوی پس از ورود به زندان اهواز، به شدت مورد ضرب و شتم قرار گرفته و مدت ۴۸ ساعت را در سلول انفرادی سپری کرده است.
