Two Amir Kabir University Students Released While Tens of Others Summoned to the Disciplinary Committee

Tuesday December 14th, 2010 - According to Daneshjoo News, a large number of students at Amir Kabir University were summoned to the university's Disciplinary Committee in the aftermath of the Student Day, December 7th 2010 (16 Azar) commemorations organized by the university's Islamic Student Association. It has also been reported that the head of the university's Disciplinary Committee contacted and threatened the families of the students by phone. To date, 2 students from the School of Mechanics, 12 students from the School of Mining and Metallurgy, and 5 students from the School of Computer Science have been summoned to the Disciplinary Office. 

A number of student activists were also summoned to the university's Disciplinary Committee two days prior to Students Day (16 Azar).  It is worth mentioning that Mohsen Mahboubian honor role student activist at Amir Kabir university was released from prison on the after noon of Monday December 13th, 2010. On Student Day (16 Azar) Bagheri a member of the university's security office had taken Mahboubian to the university's security office and subsequently turned him over to police.  This unprecedented move by the university's security office angered the students to such a degree that they demanded that the university officials address this matter immediately.  On Sunday, December 12th, 2010, Haadi Shaaker another student at Amir Kabir University was released from prison.

آزادی ۲ تن از دانشجویان بازداشت شده دانشگاه امیرکبیر/احضار ده ها تن به کمیته انضباطی

در پی برگزاری با شکوه مراسم 16 آذرتاکنون حداقل 20 تن از دانشجویان دانشگاه امیرکبیر به کمیته انضباطی احضار شده اند.


به گزارش دانشجونیوز، پس از برگزاری مراسم 16 آذر در دانشگاه امیر کبیر که توسط انجمن اسلامی دانشجویان تدارک دیده شده بود، کمیته ی انضباطی دانشگاه در عملی شتاب زده، اقدام به احضار گسترده ی فعالین دانشجویی به کمیته ی انضباطی کرده است. همچنین دبیر کمیته انضباطی دانشگاه  با خانواده ی دانشجویان تماس گرفته و آنان را تهدید کرده است. تا کنون از دانشکده مکانیک 2 نفر، دانشکده معدن و متالورژی 12 نفر و از دانشکده کامپیوتر 5 نفر به کمیته انضباطی فراخوانده شده اند.

لازم به ذکر است که 2 روز قبل از 16 آذر هم تعدادی از فعالین دانشجویی به کمیته انضباطی احضار شده بودند.
همچنین عصر روز دوشنبه محسن محبوبیان، دانشجوی ممتاز دانشگاه امیر کبیر و فعال دانشجویی از زندان آزاد شد. در روز 16 آذر باقری( از اعضای حراست دانشگاه) محبوبیان را به حراست منتقل کرده و سپس، او را به ماموران امنیتی تحویل داده بود. این اقدام بی سابقه ی حراست دانشگاه ،خشم دانشجویان دانشگاه را بر انگیخته و دانشجویان خواستار برخورد با حراست شده اند. روز یکشنبه هادی شاکر دیگر دانشجوی بازداشتی دانشگاه امیرکبیر  از زندان آزاد شده بود.
