Saturday November 13th 2010 - Pressure mounts on lawyers representing political prisoners in Iran. According to reports by Jaras, at 4:00am Tehran time this morning, Sara Sabaghian, Maryam Kianarsi, and Maryam Karbasi, three female lawyers were arrested by security officers at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Intl Airport upon returning to Iran from Turkey.
There is no news of the whereabouts of these three lawyers since their arrest. Sara Sabaghian is a member of the Bar Association's Committee for the Defense of Women and Children's Rights. Sabaghian was previously arrested along with a number of other lawyers on July 8th, 2010 when security officers arrested prominent human rights lawyer Mohammad Ali Dadkhah a founding member of Nobel laureate Shirin Ebadi's the Defenders of Human Rights Center. Sabaghian is one of the lawyers representing the web blogger Hossein Ronaghi-Maleki (also known as Babak Khoramdin), sentenced to 15 years prison. Maryam Kianarsi is Kobra Najar's lawyer, a women sentenced to death by stoning.

بازداشت سه وکیل دادگستری در فرودگاه امام خمینی

چکیده : ساعت چهار صبح امروز، سارا صباغیان، مریم کیان‌ارثی و مریم کرباسی سه وکیل دادگستری هنگام مراجعت از کشور ترکیه در فرودگاه امام خمینی تهران، توسط مأمورین امنیتی بازداشت شدند.
سه وکیل دادگستری، بامداد امروز در فرودگاه امام خمینی تهران بازداشت شدند.
به گزارش جرس و به نقل از مجذوبان نور، ساعت چهار صبح امروز، سارا صباغیان، مریم کیان‌ارثی و مریم کرباسی سه وکیل دادگستری هنگام مراجعت از کشور ترکیه در فرودگاه امام خمینی تهران، توسط مأمورین امنیتی بازداشت شدند.
هنوز از محل نگهداری و علت بازداشت این سه وکیل خبری در دست نیست.
سارا صباغیان که از اعضای کمیته پشتیبان حقوق زنان و کودکان کانون وکلای دادگستری است، که روز ۱۷ تیر ماه توسط مامورانی که قصد بازداشت محمدعلی دادخواه را داشتند، به همراه چند وکیل دیگر همراه دادخواه بازداشت شد. صباغیان یکی از وکلای بلاگر زندانی، حسین رونقی (بابک خرمدین) است.
مریم کیان‌ارثی نیز وکیل کبری نجار، زنی که چندی پیش به سنگسار محکوم شده بود
