As per Tahavole Sabz, after the arrest of his children Ayatollah Bayat Zanjani stated: "My children's blood is no thicker than that of others [arrested by the regime]." Mohammad Mostafa is studying for his Bachelor of Arts and Soosan is a graduate student at the Faculty of Architecture at Esfahan University. They were both arrested yesterday along with a large number of other protesters at the Sadeghieh metro station in Tehran and transferred to Evin prison.
Evidence suggests that the children of Ayatollah Bayat Zanjani had been under the surveillance of security forces while in Qom and were arrested by intelligence agents at the Sadeghieh Metro Station in Tehran at the onset of the demonstrations while people were chanting [anti government] slogans.
Ayatollah Bayat Zanjani, one of the Green Grand Marja [Source to Imitate/Follow], is a critic of the coup government and recently met with the heads of the Green movement Mir Hossein Mousvai and Mehdi Karroubi.

شواهد حاکی از آن است که فرزندان آیت الله بیات از قم تحت تعقیب نیروهای امنیتی بودند و در مترو به محض اغاز اعتراضات و شعارهای مردم توسط نیروهای اطلاعات بازداشت شدند
تحول سبز: محمد مصطفی و سوسن بیات زنجانی دوشنبه ۲۵ بهمن در مترو صادقیه تهران بازداشت شدند.
به گزارش خبرنگار تحول سیز آیت الله بیات زنجانی بعد از دستگیری فرزندانش گفت: خون بچه های من از بقیه رنگین تر نیست
بنا به گزارش رسیده به تحول سبز، محمد مصطفی لیسانس هنر و سوسن دانشجوی فوق لیسانس معماری دانشگلاه اصفهان هستند که روز گذشته همراه با شمار زیادی از هموطنانمان در متروی صادقیه تهران بازداشت و روانه زندان اوین شدند.
