Zahra Rahnavard "We Do Not Fear Threats, Insults & Slander and We Will Never Back Down"

In a meeting with the family of Green Martyr Sohrab Arabi and in response to the recent attacks and false propaganda against the Green leaders by the totalitarian regime officials, Zahra Rahnavard, writer, university professor and wife of Mir Hossein Mousavi reiterated: “We do not fear threats, slander and insults and will not back down.” In this visit Zahra Rahnavard referred to the Green Movement, as a wise and proud movement and added: “We will stand firm until  our very last breath in order to fulfill the values of Islamic Republic and achieve freedom. I look forward to the day that our children live in an environment filled with freedom, faith and happiness. This nation belongs to all its people from every segment of society and with any belief and viewpoint. Like all supporters of the Green movement I too am working towards achieving freedom for our nation.” Zahra Rahnavard in another part of her remarks said: “The blood of Sohrab, Neda, Roholamini, Hassanpour, Pourandarjani, Javadifar, Shabnam Sohrabi, Kiyanoush Asa, Fatemeh Samsaarpour, Ramin Ramezani and other Green martyrs are entrenched in our beliefs and the courage of imprisoned women and men will continue to lead our way.”

In this meeting Parvin Fahimi the mother of Green martyr, Sohrab Arabi also recalled her memories of  the initial days of the Islamic Revolution and said: “I used to leave my children with my mother and father in order to attend the demonstrations in Qazvin. We all worked hard in order to ensure the victory of the Islamic Revolution. How is it then that a government that emerged from this revolution can now kill my child and the children of so many others? My child voted for his desired candidate in the [presidential] elections and when he felt that his vote was taken for granted participated in a peaceful protest crying “Where Is My Vote?” Was this enough reason for them to shoot him and take his life?” In conclusion, Mrs. Fahimi pointed to the recent threats against the families of Green Martyrs designed to silence them and emphasized: “These threats have no effect on our determination. We will continue the path of our martyred children until the principles for which they died have been obtained.”

زهرا رهنورد :«ما از تهدید، تهمت و توهین نمی ترسیم و عقب نشینی نمی کنیم.»ا

دکتر زهرا رهنورد در دیدار با خانواده سهراب اعرابی، یکی از نخستین شهدای جنبش سبز با اشاره به تبلیغات گسترده اخیر علیه رهبران جنبش سبز و خطاب به آمران و عاملان تریبون های دولتی در این تهاجم ها گفت :«ما از تهدید، تهمت و توهین نمی ترسیم و عقب نشینی نمی کنیم.»ا زهرا رهنورد جنبش سبز را جنبشی آگاه و سرفراز توصیف کرد و افزود : « تا پای جان برای احیای ارزشهای انقلاب اسلامی و آزادی ایستاده ایم و به امید آن روزی هستم که فرزندانمان در محیطی سرشار از آزادی، ایمان و شادی زندگی کنند.این کشور متعلق به همه ملت از هر طبقه و قشر و با هر عقیده و اندیشه ای است و من و دیگر همراهان جنبش سبز برای آزادی همه ملت تلاش می کنیم.»ا وی در بخش دیگری از سخنان خود گفت :«خون سهراب و ندا، کامرانی ،روح الامینی ،حسن پور، پوراندرجانی، جوادی فر ، شبنم سهرابی، کیانوش آسا، فاطمه سمسارپور، رامین رمضانی و دیگر شهدای جنبش در رگهای ایمان ما می جوشد و سلحشوری زنان و مردان زندانی فرا راه ماست»ا

پروین فهیمی، مادر شهید سهراب اعرابی نیز در این دیدار با یاد آوری خاطرات خود از روزهای انقلاب اسلامی گفت :«من بچه هایم را نزد پدر و مادرم می گذاشتم و برای حضور در تظاهرات از قزوین به تهران می آمدم. همه ما برای پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی زحمت کشیده ایم و حالا چطور است که حکومت برآمده از این انقلاب فرزند من و دیگران را می کشد.فرزندی که در این نظام به کاندیدای موردعلاقه اش رای داده و وقتی احساس و برداشتش این بود که به رای اش خیانت شده با حضور در یک تظاهرات مسالمت آمیز فریاد زد که رای من کجاست؟آیا به این دلیل باید به او شلیک می کردند و جانش را می گرفتند؟ »ا وی در پایان با اشاره به تهدیدات اخیر علیه خانواده های شهدای جنبش سبز گفت : « این تهدیدها بر عزم و اراده ما برای ادامه راه فرزندان شهیدمان اثری نمی گذارد و ما راه آنها را تا تحقق آرمان هایشان ادامه خواهیم داد.»ا منبع: کلم

Ahmad Gholami Editor-in-Chief of Shargh Newspaper Resigns Rather Than Succumb to Pressure

Monday January 3rd, 2011-  Ahmad Gholami, Editor-in-Chief of Shargh newspaper who had spent three weeks in prison and was released on bail last Wednesday, has decided to resign from his position rather than succumb to pressure from security forces. 

According to reports by Jaras, Gholami stated that he is no longer able to continue in his position as Editor-in-Chief and as such desires that the position be transferred to someone else.  It is worth mentioning that Gholami's resignation comes on the heals of yet another resignation, this time by the newspaper's former caricaturist Hadi Heydari who also announced last week that he does not intend to continue working for Shargh.  Reports indicate that the remaining incarcerated Shargh employees despite continued pressure by security forces, also plan to resign from their positions at Shargh upon their release.

Three Shargh employees, namely Keyvan Mehregan, Farzaneh Roostayi and Reyhaneh Tabatabayi remain incarcerated.

Tehran Prosecutor Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi has announced that Gholami and the other Shargh employees arrested have been charged with acting against the national security of the country. Dolatabadi recently stated that the employees a Shargh newspaper were working on publishing a statement against the regime.

استعفای سردبیر روزنامه شرق تحت فشار نهادهای امنیتی

جرس: بنا به گزاش منابع خبری، احمد غلامی، سردبیر روزنامه شرق که پس از گذراندن ٣ هفته بازداشت، چهارشنبه هفته گذشته از زندان آزاد شد، تحت فشار نهادهای امنیتی تصمیم به استعفا از سمت خود گرفته است.

به گزارش جرس، غلامی گفته که از این پس قادر به ادامه همکاری نخواهد بود و مایل است سردبیری روزنامه به فرد دیگری واگذار شود . استعفای احمد غلامی از سردبیری روزنامه شرق در حالی است که هادی حیدری کاریکاتوریست این روزنامه نیز پس از آزادی از زندان در هفته گذشته اعلام کرده که دیگر قصد همکاری با شرق را ندارد. در همین حال برخی گزارشهای رسیده به جرس حاکی از این است که سایر اعضای بازداشتی روزنامه شرق نیز از سوی بازجویان تحت فشار هستند که در صورت آزادی به فعالیت خود در این روزنامه خاتمه دهند.

در حال حاضر سه عضو دیگر روزنامه شرق یعنی کیوان مهرگان، فرزانه روستایی و ریحانه طباطبایی، کماکان در بازداشت به سر می برند.

عباس جعفری دولت آبادی دادستان تهران اتهام غلامی و سایر بازداشتی های این روزنامه را اقدام علیه امنیت اعلام کرده و به تازگی نیز در اظهار نظری مدعی گردید که بازداشتی های روزنامه شرق در تدارک نوشتن اطلاعیه ای علیه نظام بوده اند

A Number of Female Parliamentarians Demand that Zahra Rahnavard be Put on Trial

Sunday January 2nd 2011- In an interview with reporters, Tayebe Safai representative of Tehran, Rey, Shamiranat and Islamabad in parliament made references to Zahra Rahnavard's anti-revolutionary position in particular with regards to the ideals of the regime and the Islamic Revolution and said: "Rahnavard's statements are much like those of Maryam Rajavi. She seeks to escape isolation and has been marginalized by the Islamic society and in particular by women as a result of her anti regime stance. She only supports the Monafeghin*."

Safai added: "Given Zahra Rahnvard's insults towards the founder of the Islamic Revolution and the ideals for which he stood, the fraction of female parliamentarians demands that the Judiciary put Rahnavard on trial as one of the leaders of the sedition."

In response to the insulting remarks made by Rahnavard towards the government of the Islamic Republic and Imam Khomeni, the head of the Islamic Society Zeiynab S. said: "Zahra Rahnavard rejected the Islamic Revolution and Velayat-e-fagih** from the very start.  As a result of her non conformist views she is considered one of the leaders of the sedition."

In an interview with reporters Maryam Behroozi stated: "During the demonstrations of the 9th of Dey, the Iranian nation gave a decisive response to the leaders of the sedition and those diverging from the ideals of the Islamic revolution. The presence of people on the anniversary of the 9th of Dey demonstrates that the Islamic Republic will never be stained."

Behroozi added that the relationship between the leaders of the revolution and the people is a religious one and as such unbreakable. In response to Rahnavard's insulting statement towards Imam Khomeini Behroozi stated: "Rahnavard has always been one of the leaders of the sedition and has never believed in the Velayat-e-faqih from the very beginning. She has never supported this revolution and has always held divergent and anti revolutionary positions."

In relation to this subject, the Isargaran Central Committee member said: "Putting Zahra Rahnavard and the leaders of the sedition on trial because of their anti-regime position and association with terrorist groups is one of the most important desires of the people of our nation."

When speaking to reporters regarding Rahnavard's irreverent and anti revolutionary position against the regime of the Islamic Republic, Eshrat Shayegh said: "Our judicial laws clearly indicate the punishment for those who are scurrilous. The Judiciary must react strongly towards Rahnavard's statements."

Shayegh added: "Over the past year, the Judiciary has given the leaders of the sedition ample opportunities to make up for their anti revolutionary behavior. They have however not only failed to do so, but over time have revealed their numerous relationships with terrorist groups and those against the revolution.  The leaders of the sedition are competing against each other when it comes to their relationship with terrorist groups.  Rahnavard and the leaders of the sedition have explicitly disregarded all dignity and respect and taken irreverence to a level that cannot be tolerated."

Shayegh reiterated: "The women in our country despise and regret such statements by Rahnavard, who is taking steps towards moral degradation by following and raising issues raised by terrorist groups."

Shayegh asserted: "Putting Zahra Rahnavard on trial is the minimum requirement by Iranian women.  As such the when the time is right, the Judiciary will put the leaders of the sedition on trial and deal with them accordingly. "

In conclusion Shayegh emphasized: "Zahra Rahnavard is currently cooperating with Maryam Rajavi and other terrorist groups. This crime will undoubtedly be added to the many crimes she has committed."

*Monafeghin [hypocrites] is the term coined by the Islamic Republic of Iran to refer to the Mujahedin Khalgh (PMOI), a large exiled group in opposition to the Iranian regime. Since Iran’s 2009 post-election uprising, numerous Iranian citizens detained illegally were issued the baseless charge of Moharebeh [waging war against God] which accuses them of links to groups in opposition to the Iranian regime; which in most cases the group made reference to is the PMOI. The Moharebeh charge can carry the sentence of execution or a long prison term.

** Velayat-e-Faqih a book by the Iranian Shia Muslim cleric Ayatollah Khomeini, was first published in 1970, and is probably the most influential document written in modern times in support of theocratic rule. It argues that government should be run in accordance with traditional Islamic sharia, and for this to happen a leading Islamic jurist (faqih), must provide political "guardianship" (wilayat or velayat) over the people. A modified form of this doctrine was incorporated into the 1979 Constitution of Islamic Republic of Iran following the Iranian Revolution, with the doctrine's author, Ayatollah Khomeini, as the first faqih "guardian" or Supreme Leader of Iran.

نامه فراکسیون زنان مجلس برای محاکمه زهرارهنورد

طيبه صفايي نماينده تهران، ري، شميرانات و اسلامشهر در مجلس شوراي اسلامي در گفتگو با باشگاه خبرنگاران با اشاره به مواضع ضد انقلابي رهنورد در خصوص آرمان هاي نظام و انقلاب گفت:رهنورد با اظهارات خود مانند مريم رجوي عمل مي كند و سعي دارد خود را از انزوا بيرون آورد چرا كه وي به دليل مواضع ضد نظامش از سوي جامعه اسلامي به خصوص زنان مطرود شده است و فقط حمايت منافقين را دارد.

وي افزود:فراكسيون زنان در واكنش به توهين هاي رهنورد به بنيانگذار انقلاب اسلامي و آرمان هاي ايشان خواستار محاكمه وي ،از قوه قضاييه به عنوان يكي از سران فتنه مي باشد.

در ادامه نيز دبير كل جامعه اسلامي زينب (س) در واكنش به اظهارات توهين آميز رهنورد در خصوص نظام جمهوري اسلامي و امام خميني (ره) گفت: ‌رهنورد از ابتدا نيز انقلاب اسلامي و ولايت فقيه را قبول نداشته و همواره داراي مواضع انحرافي بوده لذا وي يكي از سران فتنه محسوب مي شود.

مريم بهروزي در گفتگو با باشگاه خبرنگاران افزود:ملت ايران در راهپيمايي ۹ دي پاسخ كوبنده اي به مواضع انحرافي سران فتنه در خصوص انقلاب اسلامي و آرمان هاي آن دادند و حضور مجدد مردم در سالگرد يوم اله نهم دي نشانگر خدشه ناپذير بودن نظام مقدس جمهوري اسلامي است.

وي با اشاره به اينكه رابطه ميان رهبران انقلاب و مردم رابطه اي مذهبي،انقلابي و گسست ناپذير است در واكنش به بيانيه توهين آميز رهنورد درباره امام راحل افزود:رهنورد خود از سران فتنه بوده و از ابتداي انقلاب اسلامي ولايت فقيه را قبول نداشته و هيچگاه پشتيبان انقلاب نبوده است و همواره مواضع انحرافي و غير انقلابي داشته است.

همچنين عضو شوراي مركزي جمعيت ايثارگران در همين ارتباط گفت: محاكمه زهرا رهنورد و سران فتنه به دليل ساختارشكني و همراهي با گروهك هاي تروريستي از مهمترين خواسته هاي مردم ايران است.

عشرت شايق در گفتگو با باشگاه خبرنگاران با اشاره به مواضع هتاكانه و ضد انقلابي زهرا رهنورد در خصوص نظام جمهوري اسلامي ايران گفت:‌در قوانين قضايي ميزان جرم هتاكان مشخص است و دستگاه قضايي بايد با سخنان اين چنيني رهنورد به شدت برخورد نمايد.

وي افزود:دستگاه قضايي در طول يك سال گذشته به سران فتنه مهلت زيادي داد تا رفتارهاي ضد انقلابي خود را جبران نمايند ولي آنها نه تنها متنبه نشدند بلكه با مرور زمان ارتباطات فراوان خود با گروه هاي تروريستي و ضد انقلابي را آشكار نمودند.
عضو شوراي مركزي جمعيت ايثارگران با بيان اينكه فتنه گران در حاضر به دنبال سبقت گرفتن از يكديگر در همراهي با گروهك هاي ضد انقلابي هستند افزود:سران فتنه و رهنورد در حال حاضر با صراحت و وقاحت حرمت شكني را به حد اعلا رسانده اند و هتاكي را از مرزهاي نظام خارج كرده اند.

شايق تاكيد كرد:جامعه زنان كشور با نفرت فراوان از اين گونه سخنان رهنورد متاسف است كه وي در مسير انحطاط گام برمي دارد و مطالبات گروهك تروريستي را مطرح و دنبال مي كند.

عضو شوراي مركزي جمعيت ايثارگران تصريح كرد:محاكمه زهرا رهنورد كف خواسته هاي جامعه زنان كشور است لذا در حال حاضر قوه قضاييه با اتخاذ تدبيري مناسب آنها را محاكمه خواهد كرد و با قدرت فراوان با آنها برخورد مي نمايد.
وي در پايان تاكيد كرد:زهرا رهنورد در حال حاضر با مريم رجوي و گروهك هاي تروريستي همراهي دارد و اين قضيه به جرم هاي فراوان وي مي افزايد

Student Activist Mohammad Hossein Mozafari Arrested

Sunday January 2nd 2010 -  According to Advar News, after being summoned to the Intelligence Ministry's Office and hours of interrogation, Mohammad Hossein Mozafari, student activist was detained and transferred to an unknown location.

It is worth mentioning that security forces had gone to Mozafari's house on a previous occasion with the intent to arrest him, but were unsuccessful as he was not home at the time.

Mozafari's mother who explained that the pressure on her son and their family began a while ago stated: "I truly don't know what charges Hossein's arrest was based on.  Security forces had been threatening to arrest him for quite some time and my son was interrogated on numerous occasions.  We lived in constant fear of his arrest." 

To date there is no news of Mohammad Hossein Mozafari and his whereabouts.

محمد حسین مظفری،فعال دانشجویی بازداشت شد

<span>ادوار نیوز: محمد حسین مظفری فعال دانشجویی در پی احضار به دفتر پیگیری وزارت اطلاعات پس از چند ساعت بازجویی ، بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شد.

<span>به گزارش ادوار نیوز این فعال دانشجویی ساعت 8 صبح امروز به دفتر پیگیری وزارت اطلاعات احضار شده  و پس از بازجویی با صدور قرار بازداشت به مکان نامعلومی منتقل گردید.

<span>گفتنی است پیش از این نیز نیروهای امنیتی اقدام به بازداشت این فعال دانشجویی کرده بودند  که به علت عدم حضور در منزل مامورین موفق به بازداشت وی نشدند.

به گفته مادر حسین مظفری فشارهای وارده به این فعال دانشجویی و خانواده وی از مدت ها پیش آغاز شده بود.

مادر این فعال دانشجویی می گوید: « واقعا نمی دانیم حسین را به چه اتهامی بازداشت کردند. مدتها بود که نهادهای امنیتی او را به بازداشت می کردند و در این مدت مدام پسرم را برای بازجویی احضار می کردند و ما هر لحظه در بیم و هراس بازداشت او بودیم. »

از وضعیت محمد حسین مظفری و محل نگه داری وی تاکنون خبری در دست نیست.

Mansour Osanloo Transferred to Solitary Confinement After Participating in Memorial Ceremony for Ali Saremi

Saturday January 1st 2011 - According to HRANA, Mansour Osanloo incarcerated Head of the Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company, was transferred to solitary confinement at Rajai Shahr prison today Saturday January 1st 2011.

Prison officials have stated that the reason for this transfer was Osanloo's participation in a memorial ceremony held in ward 3 of Rajai Shahr prison in honor of Ali Saremi, political prisoner executed on the morning of Tuesday December 28th, 2010. 

Hossein Shahriyari, Isa Saharkhiz, Heshmatallah Tabarzadi, Mashallah Haeri, Abbas Esfandiari, Keyvan Samimi, Rasoul Badaghi, Ahmad Zeydabadi, Masoud Bastani, Saleh Kohandel, Behrooz Javid Tehrani, Hovad Yazerlou, Majid Tavakoli, Misagh Yazdan Nejad, Farzad Madadzad and others also participated in the memorial ceremony honoring Ali Sameri. 

It is worth mentioning that Osanloo was transferred to solitary confinement despite the fact that he suffers from heart disease, back problems and an eye condition. To date, three medical specialists have concluded that Osanloo is incapable of tolerating incarceration given his physical condition and based on existing laws, he should have been released.

Osanloo was arrested on numerous occasions as a result of his activism on behalf of laborers and the Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company. He has remained incarcerated since summer of 2007.

هرانا؛ منصور اسانلو به سلول انفرادی منتقل شد

خبرگزاری هرانا - منصور اسانلو رئيس زندانی سنديکای کارگران شرکت واحد اتوبوس رانی تهران، به سلول انفرادی منتقل شد.
بنا به اطلاع گزارشگران ارگان خبری مجموعه فعالان حقوق بشر در ایران "هرانا"، مسئولان زندان  رجایی شهر کرج صبح امروز شنبه یازدهم دی ماه، این فعال سرشناس کارگری را به سلول های انفرادی بند یک این زندان منتقل کردند.

دلیل انتقال آقای اسانلو سخنرانی در مراسم یادمان علی صارمی، زندانی سیاسی که بامداد سه شنبه هفتم دی ماه اعدام شد، در بند 3 زندان رجایی شهر کرج است.


از جمله شرکت کنندگان در این مراسم آقایان حسین شهریاری، عیسی سحرخیز، حشمت الله طبرزدی، ماشالله حائری، عباس اسفندیاری، منصور اسانلو، کیوان صمیمی، رسول بداقی، احمد زیدآبادی، مسعود باستانی، صالح کهن دل، بهروز جاوید تهرانی، هود یازرلو، مجید توکلی، میثاق یزدان نژاد، فرزاد مدد زاد و ... بودند.

منصور اسانلو در حالی به سلول انفرادی منتقل شده است که از لحاظ جسمی به ناراحتی های حاد مختلفی ائم ار ناراحتی قلبی، کمر درد و ناراحتی چشم مبتلا است و تا کنون سه بار پزشک قانونی رای به عدم تحمل حبس او داده است و طبق قوانین موجود او باید آزاد می شد.

اسانلو بارها بدلیل مبارزات کارگری و تلاش برای احقاق حقوق کارگران شرکت واحد اتوبوس رانی تهران بازداشت شده و از تابستان سال 1386 تاکنون در زندان محبوس است.

Fatemeh Arab Sorkhi Released From Evin Prison on Bail

Saturday January 1st 2011 - Fatemeh Arab Sorkhi, the daughter of political prisoner Faizallah Arab Sorkhi was released from Evin prison today, Saturday January 1st, 2011 on $50,000.- USD bail.

Fatemeh Arab Sorkhi was arrested on December 19th, 2010 when she was summoned to the prosecutor's office at Evin along with a number of other young reformists such as Haadi Hadiri, Mohammad Shafii and Ali Reza Taheri.  The aforementioned had been released last week and only Fatemeh remained behind bars.

According to reports by Jaras, the delay by the authorities to issue bail last Thursday led to the postponement of her release until today.

It is worth mentioning that security officers raided Fatemeh Arab Sorkhi's residence recently confiscating her computer, passport, manuscripts and personal belongings. She was served with papers to appear at the prosecutor's office in Evin on that very same day.

فاطمه عرب سرخی، فرزند زندانی سیاسی فیض الله عرب سرخی، روز شنبه ١١ دی ماه ٨٩، با قرار وثیقه ای ۵۰ میلیون تومانی از زندان اوین آزاد شد.

فاطمه عرب سرخی، روز ٢٨ آذر ماه امسال، همزمان با احضار چند تن دیگر از جوانان اصلاح طلب، همچون هادی حیدری، محمد شفیعی و علیرضا طاهری به دادسرای مستقر در زندان اوین، مورد بازداشت قرار گرفته بود، که از آن جمع تنها فاطمه در بازداشت مانده بود و مابقی دستگیرشدگان طی هفته گذشته آزاد شده بودند.

به گزارش جرس، تعلل مقامات در صدور آزادی وی با قرار وثیقه، مانع از اقدام به موقع برای روز پنجشنبه گذشته شده بود و این روند به امروز موکول گردید.

گفتنی است ماموران امنیتی چندی پیش به منزل فاطمه عرب سرخی یورش برده و کامپیوتر، گذرنامه، دست نوشته‌ها و وسایل شخصی او را با خود برده و همان روز احضاریه را برای حضور در دادسرا به وی ارائه کرده بودند.

مقامات امنیتی، “برنامه‌ریزی برای برگزاری برخی از جلسات” را، از اتهامات فاطمه و دیگر بازداشت شدگان اعلام کرده بودند

Friday December 31st 2010 - In an interview with RASA, Zahra Rahnavard university professor and wife of Mir Hossein Mousavi stated: "This is one of the most oppressive and violent regimes in the history of our nation.  Our people do not fear oppression. Despite the continuous arrests and prison sentences our people not only never hesitated but rather bravely embraced incarceration."

Rahnavard added: "Based on our experiences from the time of the Islamic Revolution, we realize that street protests alone do not suffice. Theoretical, organizational and intellectual dimensions must be added to our street presence."

According to Jaras in an interview with RASA, Rahnavard examined the various aspects of Iran's Democratic Green Movement and said the following regarding the oppressive tactics of the current regime: " This has been one of the most oppressive and violent governments in the history of our nation."

While pointing to the large number of incarcerated political prisoners Rahnavard emphasized: "Our people do not fear oppression. Despite the continuous arrests and prison sentences our people not only never hesitated but rather bravely embraced incarceration."

Rahnavard reiterated that Iran's Green Democratic Movement is anything but passive, stating that the Green will continue to fight through "fearlessness", "refusing to be silenced", "underground resistance", and even through "smiling at each other in defiance". Rahnavard added: "We are all together and we will use every symbol and tool at our disposal to demonstrate and preserve our unity." 

Rahnavard stressed: "It is important that every individual find their own path in this democratic movement, but what is most vital regardless of the path we each choose is to ensure that we never remain silent." Rahnavard continued: " I believe that a victory easily obtained, is also easily lost. The Islamic Revolution was not an easy victory, but its success was witnessed much sooner than expected. That success however lacked the necessary foundation. As a result we witnessed a decline in the first seven to eight years which has led us to this point thirty years after the revolution.

مردم از سرکوب نمی ترسند و به پیشواز زندان رفته‌اند

چکیده : این حاکمیت بسیار سرکوب‌گر بوده است و یکی از خشن‌ترین چهره‌های حاکمیت در ایران را، ما در چهر‌ه‌ی حاکمیت فعلی می‌بینیم.مردم ما از سرکوب نمی‌ترسند، نمونه‌اش این همه زندانی کردن‌ها است که هیچ‌کس از آن ابایی ندارد؛ حتی به پیشواز زندان رفته‌اند.

دکتر زهرا رهنورد استاد دانشگاه با بیان این که “تجربه انقلاب اسلامی به ما نشان داد که تنها حضور در خیابان کافی نیست” اظهار داشت: جنبه‌های تئوری، جنبه‌های تشکیلاتی و جنبه‌های عقلانی باید به این حضورهای خیابانی افزوده شوند.
به گزارش جرس، رهنورد، در گفت‌وگو با رسا با بررسی جوانب جنبش دموکراسی‌خواه مردم ایران، درباره سرکوب‌های صورت‌گرفته از سوی حکومت گفت: این حاکمیت بسیار سرکوب‌گر بوده است و یکی از خشن‌ترین چهره‌های حاکمیت در ایران را، ما در چهر‌ه‌ی حاکمیت فعلی می‌بینیم.

وی با اشاره به تعداد بالای زندانیان سیاسی تاکید کرد: مردم ما از سرکوب نمی‌ترسند، نمونه‌اش این همه زندانی کردن‌ها است که هیچ‌کس از آن ابایی ندارد؛ حتی به پیشواز زندان رفته‌اند.

رهنورد راه‌های عدم انفعال جنبش سبز را ‌بی‌شمار خواند و “نترسیدن”، “هرگز سکوت نکردن”، “مبارزه‌های زیرزمینی” و حتی “به یکدیگر لبخند زدن” را از جمله این راه‌ها دانست و گفت: ما همه با هم هستیم و با هر نماد و سمبلی می‌توانیم این را به هم نشان دهیم و وحدت‌مان را حفظ کنیم.

وی تاکید کرد: هر کس باید راه خودش را پیدا کند، اما آنچه مهم است این که ما نباید ساکت بمانیم.
رهنورد همچنین اظهار داشت: من معتقدم که پیروزی‌های زودرس خیلی زود هم از بین می‌رود. انقلاب اسلامی یکی از همان‌ها بود که خیلی کار بزرگی بود. اما خیلی زودتر از آنچه انتظار می‌رفت نتیجه داد. ولی آن پیروزی فاقد زیرساخت‌های لازم بود و به همین دلیل خیلی زود و در همان هفت- هشت سال اول رو به انحطاط رفت و امروز بعد از سی سال به اینجا رسیده‌ایم
